Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the MRI department.
- Ensure adherence to protocols and procedures to maintain high standards of imaging quality and patient safety.
- Schedule and coordinate MRI procedures optimizing department efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to MRI technologists and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development to staff.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards including participation in ACR accreditation.
- Maintain inventory of MRI supplies and equipment.
- Handle patient inquiries concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program.
- ARRT (MR) certification is required.
- Advanced certification in MRI.
- Minimum of three years of experience in MRI.
- At least two years of experience as a lead technologist or supervisor in an MRI setting.
- Active MRSO certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
