Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing highquality computed tomography (CT) scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
As a CT Technologist you will work closely with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care and accurate imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as prescribed by physicians following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Position patients accurately and ensure proper imaging techniques to achieve clear diagnostic images.
- Operate CT imaging equipment including setting up and adjusting machines for optimal results.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging procedure.
- Prepare and review patient medical histories and imaging requests to ensure the correct procedure is performed.
- Communicate effectively with patients providing instructions and addressing concerns or questions.
- Assist in preparing and administering contrast agents as required.
- Ensure all imaging results are recorded and stored accurately in the system.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following infection control and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRTCT or equivalent).
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- State licensure if required.
