Job Description
Are you interested in further driving the internationalization and growth of SIXT within a motivated and dynamic team Do you have a sound knowledge of general ledger accounting Then become part of our international accounting team as an Executive Accountant (m/f/d). In this position you can expect an exciting and varied job in which you will be responsible for general ledger accounting and process improvements for our French market. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- Within the French accounting team you will take over process ownership for various accounting tasks and assume a functional supervisory role over the French team (2 people)
- You support the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and PCG standards
- You perform monthly reviews of the trial balance and provide analysis and commentary to local stakeholders in the country
- You are a central accounting contact for our internal tax department and for our auditors
- You support the continuous development and optimization of accounting processes in cooperation with various departments
- You actively participate in various projects within the finance department e.g. supporting the introduction of the einvoicing & ereporting reform and the implementation of a new ERP system
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Education You have successfully graduated from university with a focus on finance & accounting or completed a commercial apprenticeship with an additional qualification as an accountant
- Experience You have sound accounting knowledge and already been able to prove this in practice or you are working in audit / consulting and would like to move to the client side
- Tools You have good knowledge in working with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ideally experience in working with SAP or comparable ERP systems
- Soft skills You are solutionoriented and determined enjoy working in a team and actively designing and optimizing processes
- Languages You have a very good command of written and spoken English and ideally French
