Job Description:
- Manages multiple largescale highly complex projects ($5M 10 FTEs) by coordinating a team of Sr PMs
- Supports PMO leadership to optimize resource allocation
- Determines budgets and staffing for business cases
- Submits PMA and PM performance assessments for project stage midyear and yearend reviews
- May be called upon to take on challenged projects closely supervising incumbent PMs
- Is SME for project methodologies and financial analytics Actively mentors PMs and PMAs
Required Skills:
- Electric Operations in a Utility
- Asset Work Management (Distribution Pole Transmission Tower Substation)
- SAP PM SAP EAM GIS AWS or other cloud services
- Electric Generation Interconnection / New Business connection
- Website/Portal for application intake
Desired Skills:
- BS in CS or equivalent
- 8 years in IT project management with focus on staffing or resource management
- Proficiency in PDM ; PPMC tools
- Experience with managing 30 FTEs as part of a single 12 month project
- Experience with 5 projects ($5M labor each) and 5 PMAs ; 2 PMs from planning
- Proficiency in Client Satisfaction Metrics Project statistical ; variance analysis
- Estimating Scope and risk management
- QA reviews and inspection
- PMI Project Management Professional certification or equivalent
