Job Description
You will work as part of a team of database developers that build maintain and enhance our database solutions and ensure they are operating successfully efficiently and securely. The work is undertaken over multiple different solutions across the portfolio of databases.
What youll do:
- Design develop and maintain SQL Server databases and related ETL applications.
- Write and optimize complex queries stored procedures functions and triggers.
- Analyze database performance identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure seamless data integration.
- Monitor troubleshoot and resolve database issues including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Ensure data Security and continuous process improvements change management process.
- Create and maintain documentation related to database designs processes and workflows.
- Automation of batch jobs using scheduling tool.
Qualifications :
What youll bring:
- 2 years of experience as a SQL Server Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server (SSIS TSQL SSRS).
- Experience in writing complex SQL queries stored procedures and optimizing performance.
- Familiarity with database design normalization and indexing strategies.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and reporting.
- Knowledge of modern relational databases i.e. SQL Server/ Postgres/ MySQL.
- Experience unit testing with SQL Server.
- Understanding of version control tools including GIT/Bitbucket/MS TFS.
- Experience in working Agile methodology.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non
- technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
- Experience in automation and QA/Testing Database solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure SQL or AWS RDS preferred.
