Test Automation Engineer

Job Description: 
Our Automation Testers work in crossfunctional teams to ensure software quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from test planning and execution to defect tracking. They ensure the functionality performance and reliability of applications before deployment using a deep understanding of various applications databases and operating systems. Our Automation Testers maintain high standards of product excellence and contribute to overall user satisfaction through meticulous testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review functional and technical requirements to develop detailed test plans and test cases.
• Design develop and execute automated and manual tests using industrystandard testing frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers business analysts and other stakeholders to ensure software meets functional and nonfunctional requirements.
• Perform different types of testing to ensure software is thoroughly vetted before release.
• Identify document and track defects working with development teams to resolve issues and retest as necessary.
• Provide feedback to improve test processes and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Maintain and update automated test scripts based on evolving application functionality.
• Ensure timely delivery of test results and create comprehensive test reports.

Qualifications :

• 1 years of experience in automation testing or software development.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java C# or similar.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (e.g. blackbox testing whitebox testing regression testing performance testing).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience working with test management and defect tracking systems like JIRA TestRail or similar.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Would be consider as a plus if you are:

• Familiar with cloud environments such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experienced in performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile team.
