Job Description
Project/Client: banking
Location: remote
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 612 months
Level: senior
Role:
We are seeking an experienced Observability Engineer to contribute to our Stability 2.0 initiative. The role focuses on enhancing system stability through advanced observability practices and tools.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in NewRelic for infrastructure and application performance monitoring (APM).
- Proficiency in Zabbix for effective system monitoring and alerting.
- Handson experience with Chef for configuration management and automation.
- Extensive knowledge of Terraform and/or Terragrunt for infrastructure provisioning.
- Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals and commandline utilities.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience ideally with exposure to regulated environments such as banking.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional tools like the ELK stack Docker Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Prior experience in the banking sector or similar regulated environments is highly desirable with an understanding of compliance and security standards.
English: upperintermediate
