Position: Audio Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate digital audio equipment and processors to ensure highquality sound.
- Manage various audio input sources (e.g. microphones DI signals) while maintaining consistent sound levels.
- Coordinate with departments to design and implement studio setups that meet production needs.
- Provide acoustic expertise for optimizing studio layouts and sound quality.
- Set up and adjust audio systems and finetune video elements such as lighting and camera settings.
- Monitor and maintain audio equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware or software malfunctions.
- Perform technical repairs including assembly disassembly and soldering.
- Install and configure operating systems and drivers on workstations and broadcastrelated hardware.
- Ensure smooth integration of audiooverIP systems and external processing servers with plugins and peripherals.
- Understand and contribute to the integration of audio with video in a broadcast environment.
- Occasionally assist with videorelated tasks to ensure seamless coordination between audio and video.
- Travel to locations for audio system setup and installation in new studio environments.
- Ensure audio systems reliability and proper acoustic treatments in studio designs.
- Adapt to evolving production demands and show a commitment to improving technical expertise.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native/fluent in English (C1) both oral and written.
- Minimum of 5 years in a live broadcast studio or similar audio engineering role.
- Audio engineering degree or equivalent technical certification preferred.
- Proficient in operating digital audio consoles external processing servers and signal routing protocols (e.g. AES3 SoundGrid Dante).
- Strong understanding of loudness metering level alignment and broadcast standards.
- Basic knowledge of video workflows including color temperature adjustments and filter use.
- Familiar with AC/DC circuitry multimeter usage and other test equipment.
- Skilled in installing configuring and troubleshooting computer operating systems (Windows Linux).
- Ability to install solder and repair components on printed circuit boards.
- Capable of advising on or designing studio layouts soundproofing and acoustic treatments.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly identify and resolve audio hardware and system malfunctions under pressure.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with AV lighting and production teams.
- Prior experience with live online casino or similar multitable broadcast environments would be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with video camera operation in a studio control room context is a plus.
- Ideally relevant certifications (e.g. Dante Level certifications Waves certifications etc.).
