As part of Code 81 PMO growth we are recruiting a UAE experienced Midlevel & Professional Level project manager to manage all phases of the project lifecycle including initialization resource planning risk management and stakeholder management.
This is a client facing role and candidates must be experienced in managing multiple work streams simultaneously using both agile and Waterfall methodologies with the capability to learn and implement new technologies.
Candidates must also be able to demonstrate their capabilities in meeting project milestones schedules project product and people management and deliver end to end Infrastructure Cloud Software development and managed services projects.
Job Description:
Project Delivery Planning
- Define project scope goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop fullscale project plans and associated communications documents
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involve parties throughout project life cycle.
Manage and control Project Execution
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver progress reports proposals requirements documentation and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
- Build develop and grow any business relationship vital to the success of the project.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Perform a risk assessment. Analyze current risks and identify potential risks that are affecting the company
- Lead and manage daytoday project activities from initiation through deployment and transition to operation
To ensure that the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained to evaluate where continual improvement can be made.
- Maintain proper documentation of the project and keep them in a safe location
- By the end of the project update a lessons learned document with all lessons learned from the project in order to be avoided in the future projects.
- Manage stakeholder throughout the project
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholder in a timely and clear fashion.
- Maintain review meetings with all stakeholders to assure proper communication.
- Assure customers expectations are met through proper communication.
- Maintain customers satisfaction through proper customer relations management.
Manage Projects Resources
- Determine and assess need for additional staff/ and or consultants and make the appropriate recruitment if necessary during project cycle.
- Delegate task and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Coach mentor motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Qualifications :
- 15 years IT Experience including 8 years demonstrated experience in successful delivery of medium to large scale projects in a Project Manager role; experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions including responsibilities over project cost management.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Engineering or other related field.
- PMP Certification.
- Excellent Communication Skill and Negotiation Skills
- Excellent Resource management Skills
- Knowledge of agile methodology is highly desirable.
- Ability to deal with different levels of stakeholders within the organization
- Results oriented and structured thinking
- Strong Knowledge of projects cost governance.
- High attention to details including effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple competing projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior leaders Vendors clients across functions including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
