Job Description
MW Partners is currently seeking a Research Associate to work for our client who is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Performs minimally complex experiments with input from supervisor.
- Understands experimental goal and may provide input to the experimental design.
- Analyses data from individual experiment with input from supervisor and documents work in laboratory notebook or report.
- Able to summarize a group of experiments.
- Effectively communicates with peers and supervisor. May present data in group meetings.
- Prepares reagents and panels.
- Participates in lab maintenance activities.
- Maintains training log.
- Ensures proper transportation handling and disposal of hazardous biohazardous and/or infectious substances.
- Operates and calibrates all general lab equipment.
- With instruction from supervisor may write study protocols and reports to support part of the project.
Requirements:
- B.A./B.S. Molecular Biology Chemistry Biochemistry or related field
- M.S. without thesis
- 0 2 years postbaccalaureate laboratory experience in academia or industry
- Good knowledge of GLP.
- Working knowledge of laboratory safety and record keeping.
- Strong mathematics skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Powerpoint Excel Word.
