Manage travel requests,support in travel cost optimization, and ensure adherence to travel policies for all Majid Al Futtaim's Operating Companies across all operating countries.
ROLE PROFILE
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, such as travel agency account manager, working closely with the travel agency in a partnership and collaborative manner is very crucial. Also collaborate with travelers/staff, management and procurement team.
Work closely with the travel agency to plan and organize travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and other relevant details
Ensure company travel policies are applied on all bookings and reservations and report/highlight any exception
Verify expenses comply with contracted corporate agreements and rates.
Conduct research, and compare flights and accommodations, considering any hidden or extra fees to find the best deals available.
24/7 support to company employees in emergency cases.
Propose creative ideas in managing scheduling and transportation methods resulting in cost savings and enhancing efficiencies
Ensure booking transportation in a way that fits company’s needs, the most affordable way to travel.
Travel Planning and Coordination:
Research and book transportation, accommodations, and other travel services based on client or company needs.
Create detailed travel itineraries, including flights, hotel reservations, and ground transportation.
Provide travel options that align with preferences, budgets, and travel policies.
Client Interaction and Support:
Consult with clients or team members to understand their travel requirements and preferences.
Offer recommendations for destinations, activities, and cost-saving options.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving travel-related concerns.
Booking and Reservations:
Use travel booking platforms and systems (e.g., GDS, Amadeus, Sabre) to make reservations and manage bookings.
Secure reservations for group travel, corporate events, or individual trips.
Confirm travel details and ensure accurate documentation is provided to travelers.
Bachelor’s degree, any field.
Minimum 1 year of overall experience in Travel agency or similar position.
Previous experience in a large organization dealing with travel agencies covering Knowledge of Travel Industry & familiar with the regulations.
Fluency in English and Arabic (a must).
Excellent communication skills, Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Concur Knowledge is preferable but not a must.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple bookings and travel arrangements efficiently.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with clients and resolving issues.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address travel disruptions and find alternative solutions promptly.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in bookings, itineraries, and documentation.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with travel booking systems, Microsoft Office, and online research tools.
Customer Service Orientation: Providing high-quality service and addressing client needs effectively.
