Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineering/EIT specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure for a fulltime position based in Edmonton Alberta.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Conducts engineering design related to water and wastewater infrastructure under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Creates designs calculations sketches diagrams schematic drawings and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Develops cost estimates during design development related to water and wastewater projects.
- Writes technical documentation including memoranda reports proposals and letters to support water and wastewater related projects.
- Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Supports construction projects through onsite contract administration and field support. Collaborates with Contractors and more senior staff in delivering successful construction projects.
- Performs work in accordance with agreedupon budget and schedule under supervision.
- Supports experienced engineers in project management and administrative duties.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of related construction experience.
