With a focus on engaging and informative content we aim to build a robust audience that supports a new construction home website. Our videos have already garnered significant attention with some exceeding 1 million views.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Content Writer to join our team and take our social media presence to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building successful social media channels strong strategic skills and a passion for creating compelling content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Development: Build and grow our social media channels focusing on engagement and audience growth.
- Content Creation: Develop strategic video and written content including scripts for:
- LinkedIn posts
- Shortform videos (e.g. TikTok Instagram Reels)
- Longform YouTube content
- Research and Trends: Monitor industry trends and audience interests to create timely and relevant content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the team including our content creator Eric and an experienced editor.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze content performance making datadriven recommendations for improvement.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building and managing social media channels.
- Strong strategic skills for both video and written content.
- Excellent written English ideally at a native level.
- Ability to research trending topics and create engaging scripts.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant content examples is essential.
- Availability for afternoon meetings (15pm or 26pm South Africa time; 37pm Portugal time).
