Overview
The Business Analyst with a focus on Data Analysis plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends patterns and insights.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design effective solutions.
- Use SQL and other tools to extract and manipulate data.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and validate requirements.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Support the project management team in tracking progress and reporting on key metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis.
- Develop business cases to justify proposed projects and initiatives.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear concise manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
- Assist in training team members on data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations.
- Document all analysis processes and methodologies for future reference.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business Data Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Familiarity with business process modeling techniques.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in creating business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of financial and operational metrics.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Capable of facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Experience in predictive analytics is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Certification in business analysis (e.g. CBAP) is a plus.
