Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly detailoriented and motivated Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) to join our fastpaced team. This critical role supports our talent acquisition function by managing preboarding processes including background checks candidate tracking and offer coordination. Key Responsibilities:
- Background Check Management:
- Initiate and track candidate background checks in Sterling.
- Communicate regularly with the vendor to obtain updates and resolve issues promptly.
- Candidate Onboarding:
- Process candidate hiring in SmartRecruiters and update Workday and other internal systems with accurate data.
- Maintain and update new hire trackers using spreadsheets ensuring data accuracy.
- PreBoarding Support:
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to monitor candidate statuses and ensure a seamless preboarding process including background check completion.
- Data Management:
- Handle multiple streams of data entry and manual tracking across systems maintaining consistency and precision.
- Process Documentation:
- Learn and document talent acquisition processes making recommendations for improvements and ensuring efficient workflows.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for recruiters hiring managers and candidates during the hiring process providing regular updates and responding to inquiries.
- Problem Solving and Process Ownership:
- Identify inefficiencies troubleshoot issues and suggest improvements.
- Independently manage tasks with minimal supervision ensuring timely and highquality output.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Handson experience with Workday and SmartRecruiters applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Familiarity with Sterling as a background check vendor.
Skills:
- Extreme attention to detail with a track record of minimal errors in data entry and documentation.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a highpaced environment.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Smartsheet for managing manual tracking spreadsheets.
Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Confidence in making calls to vendors like Sterling for updates and issue resolution.
Technical Aptitude:
- Ability to learn processes quickly document them accurately and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Comfort working with multiple systems and tools simultaneously.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience automating manual tasks or identifying process improvements.
- Knowledge of endtoend talent acquisition processes and systems integration.
- Background in compliance and process documentation.
- Experience in a tech or fastpaced corporate environment.
