Candidate performs various functions which primarily involves providing overall management of the logistics operation and overseeing the planning scheduling and quality inspections of the work performed by the logistics team under Operation Business Unit.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing oversea import and export operation processes and work instructions (WIs).
- Manage inventory as well as warehouse transportation and other logistics processes ensure the delivery timely and safety.
- Conduct process training sessions for thirdparty logistics providers (3PL) and customs brokers.
- Manage declaration dashboards to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
- Provide support to customs officers and assist in internal customs audits.
- Review new quotations from 3PLs verify billing accuracy and ensure supporting documents are complete
- Continuously review and improve 3PL performance through effective control measures.
- Establish and continuously optimise the import and export business process to ensure that the import and export business continues to be compliant and efficient.
- Develop new strategies logistic partners to streamline processes and reduce cost
- Responsible for the urgent handling of various problems encountered in the process of shipment and customs clearance
- Ensure that quality quantity customer satisfaction and financial commitments are met
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
- Partner and communicate with manufacturers suppliers and customers
Job Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Diploma or bachelor s degree in Business Economics or Supply Chain International Business or Business Administration or a related field
- Preferred fluent spoken and written in DACH English spoken Mandarin will be the plus
- Confident handling of standard IT applications (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint Visio Power BI etc.)
- At least 5 years working experience in importation/exportation management or in related functional areas the work experience at multinational company will be the plus
- Multitasking skills and the ability to work under timeconstraints and pressure.
- Strong research and data analysis skill.
- You are rigorous responsive and naturally curious; you have an enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
- You have a very good relationship skills building relationships with colleagues and clients easily; you are openminded and are open to international relations.
- In depth knowledge of customs regulations and procedures in Netherlands European is a plus.
- Candidates must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
