Our client is an organization built to transform Government/lowincome schools by offering holistic development of all children. They use choicebased learning (Visual arts Performing arts STEM: Coding & Science and Financial Literacy) to develop leadership skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any field
- 3 years of relevant fulltime work experience preferably in fundraising partnerships and networkbuilding
- B2B Sales / Business Development experience preferred
- Background in Investment Banking is an added advantage
Responsibilities:
a) Business Development
Events and Fundraising:
Identify collateral needs (e.g. publications video online communications mailing
materials) to support fundraising activities.
Undertake Direct Marketing campaigns crowdfunding campaigns including mail and online appeals.
Set up coordinate and organize fundraising events.
CSR:
Identify opportunities and potential tieups that will bring in revenue support and funds.
Plan persuasive approaches campaigns and pitches that will convince potential donors.
Generating clear and compelling written communications for key external audiences including the preparation of donor proposals concept notes reports highstakes emails PowerPoint presentations and other communications to inspire prospective donors.
Individual Donors (HNI):
Assist in developing the pipeline of new donors coming into the organization through cold calls meetings etc.
Research and identify prospective HNI donors and support the CEO to present the organization and its work to secure highlevel donations.
Support the CEO to convert them into confirmed donors and strengthen relations with existing donors.
b) Donor Stewardship
Serve as the primary relationship manager for longterm and highpotential donors (CSR Foundations and Individuals).
Deepen existing partnerships by curating bespoke engagement donor delight and branding opportunities. This role would require an advanced understanding of the organization to articulate the need and challenges authentically to donors to build partnerships catalytic to scaling programs and initiatives.
c) Assist in growing and delivering Development Strategy and Planning
Support the CEO to define longterm organizational strategic goals
Assist in creating pipeline strategy
Support the CEO to maintain and leverage the funder network
Research on new trends with a view to developing new approaches and campaigns
