The Branch Development Manager in the Life Insurance industry specifically in the Agency Channel plays a crucial role in driving the growth and development of the branchs business. They are responsible for overseeing the recruitment training and development of the agency force to achieve business targets and maximize revenue. This role requires strong leadership sales acumen and strategic planning to effectively manage and expand the agency channel.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit train and develop a highperforming agency force to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
- Execute strategic plans to drive business growth and market penetration in the assigned region
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and support to improve the productivity and effectiveness of the agency team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the agency force motivating them to achieve business objectives and ensure high levels of retention
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to enhance business performance
- Monitor and analyze market trends competition and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and development
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines while carrying out business operations
- Provide timely and accurate reports on business performance budget utilization and other key metrics
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the agency channel to enhance overall business outcomes
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or related field
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the Life Insurance industry preferably in the agency channel
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and business objectives
- Indepth knowledge of Life Insurance products industry trends and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of agency recruitment training and development processes
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage relationships and drive team performance
- Proficiency in strategic planning budgeting and financial analysis
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced targetdriven environment while maintaining a customercentric approach
- Certification or professional qualification in Insurance will be an added advantage
- Proficient in using CRM and sales management tools to track and monitor team performance and business metrics
