Job Description
- Review and prepare federal and multistate tax returns on a timely and efficient basis; to include business partnerships individuals notforprofit and trust returns.
- Review and prepare annual tax provisions and tax planning calculations for estimate and extension purposes.
- Research complex tax matters in order to summarize results and propose resolutions.
- Monitor and communicate legislative and regulatory tax law developments.
- Supervise and train members of the tax team.
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships.
- Respond to client inquires and taxing authorities.
- Perform other accounting and tax duties as assigned.

- Strong candidates for this position should be motivated reliable and possess:
- A bachelor s degree in accounting or a related major is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- At least six years of prior experience in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to articulate complex information.
- QuickBooks Desktop and Online.
- Microsoft Office in particular Excel and Word.
- CCH ProSystem FX or Axcess Tax.
- Caseware.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and to analyze problems logically and comprehensively distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant information.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential matters in a tactful and discreet manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the capability to effectively present information and respond to clients needs.
