Job Description
SAP ABAP Consultant (CDS ODATA RAP S/4 HANA)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ABAP programs reports and interfaces for S/4 HANA.
- Create and maintain CDS views to enable realtime data access.
- Implement and consume OData services for various applications.
- Utilize RAP model to build and extend applications efficiently.
- Conduct performance tuning of existing ABAP objects.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure system alignment.
- Develop technical documentation and specifications for developed solutions.
- Support testing efforts including unit and integration testing.
- Provide troubleshooting and debugging support for complex issues.
- Maintain and enhance existing ABAP applications and programs.
- Ensure compliance with SAP security standards in all developments.
- Train and mentor junior ABAP developers on best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging SAP technologies and practices.
- Participate in SAP upgrade activities and project planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Handson experience with CDS views OData services and RAP model.
- Strong knowledge of S/4 HANA architecture and frameworks.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting ABAP code.
- Familiarity with integration techniques in SAP.
- Ability to deliver technical documentation for developed objects.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Experience in agile project methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of SAP GUI WebIDE and Eclipse.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP are a plus.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
- Understanding of SAP Fiori is an advantage.
- Experience with databases and SQL is beneficial.
