As a Parttime Evening Slot Ophthalmologist at our Sarjapur Road location in Bangalore Karnataka you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive eye care services to patients during evening hours. Key responsibilities
- Conducting thorough eye examinations and diagnosing ocular diseases and conditions
- Managing and treating both common and complex eye disorders
- Performing surgical interventions including cataract surgeries glaucoma procedures and other ophthalmic surgeries
- Offering expert advice and guidance to patients regarding eye health and possible treatment options
- Monitoring and managing postoperative care for surgical patients
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate patient records and reports
- Participating in departmental meetings and training sessions
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and incorporating best practices into clinical care
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant medical laws regulations and ethical standards
Required qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution
- MD/MS/DNB in Ophthalmology from an accredited university
- Valid state medical license to practice as an Ophthalmologist
- Proven experience working in ophthalmology preferably in an OPD setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic conditions
- Excellent surgical skills with specific expertise in cataract surgeries and other ophthalmic interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in the evening OPD setting
- Commitment to maintaining highquality patient care and safety standards
- Willingness to stay updated with advancements in ophthalmic technology and treatments
- Good organizational and time management skills
