Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Group Head of Airline Contracting to lead our airline partnerships and contracting strategies. This role is critical in driving business growth through effective negotiations relationship management and optimizing our airline offerings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the airline industry exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive airline contracting strategy aligned with the company s business objectives and growth plans.
Negotiation: Lead negotiations with airline partners to secure favourable contract terms pricing and availability ensuring competitive offerings for our customers.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key airline stakeholders fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment on business objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends opportunities and potential risks within the airline industry to inform contracting strategies.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of contracting professionals promoting a culture of excellence collaboration and continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the performance of airline contracts making datadriven decisions to enhance profitability.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing sales and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of airline products into our offerings.
Compliance: Ensure that all airline contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal policies.
Budget Management: Manage the budget for the airline contracting team ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with financial goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Aviation Management or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5 years of experience in airline contracting procurement or related fields with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of successful negotiations and partnership development within the airline industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform decisionmaking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing and developing highperforming teams.
Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the airline sector.
Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
