We are looking for a talented Sales Engineer to serve as a crucial link between our Customer Success team and the Product Engineering and Product Intelligence teams. In this role you will perform thorough root cause analysis (RCA) on customer issues using database queries and internal tools. Your technical expertise will help you troubleshoot problems clarify complex matters related to AI models (particularly LLMs) and effectively communicate findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Key Functions:
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Conduct comprehensive investigations into customerreported issues by utilizing SQL queries logs and internal tools to identify the root causes of technical problems especially those related to AIdriven functionalities.
- PreSales and PostSales Support: Collaborate closely with the Customer Success and GoToMarket teams to provide technical expertise during both presales and postsales phases ensuring seamless customer onboarding and effective issue resolution.
- CrossTeam Collaboration: Work alongside Product Engineering and Product Intelligence teams to resolve technical challenges enhance product features and improve system integrations based on field feedback.
- Customer Communication: Clearly explain complex technical issues (especially those involving AI models and LLMs) to nontechnical customers in an understandable manner.
- Solutions Design: Partner with customers and internal teams to design and recommend solutions that meet customer needs while improving overall product functionality.
- Documentation: Create thorough records of RCA findings technical solutions and customerfacing documents to aid in ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Strong experience with SQL for database querying and familiarity with debugging processes using internal tools. Knowledge of AI models particularly LLMs is highly beneficial.
- Experience: A minimum of 35 years in a Solutions Engineer Sales Engineer or a similar customerfacing technical role.
- Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical findings into simple actionable explanations for nontechnical users including customers and internal teams.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities focused on quickly and efficiently diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work across teams particularly between sales engineering and customerfacing roles to facilitate issue resolution and enhance product offerings.
