Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead and manage backend and machine learning teams ensuring adherence to best practices and the delivery of highquality results.
- Backend Development: Design build and maintain scalable and resilient backend systems to support a variety of applications and services.
- Machine Learning Integration: Drive the development and integration of machine learning models into our products and services.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers data scientists and other engineering teams to align objectives and deliver innovative solutions.
- Optimization: Enhance system performance scalability and security ensuring seamless operations in production environments.
- Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers promoting a culture of growth learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in backend development with a strong grasp of distributed systems APIs and databases.
- Expertise in machine learning with experience deploying models in production settings.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python Node.js or Java along with familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS GCP or Azure.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with a track record of leading crossfunctional teams.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a passion for creating scalable highperformance systems.
