Overview
The position of DM Critical Care MDAnesthesia Fellowship in Critical Care is a crucial role within the healthcare organization responsible for providing specialized medical care and expertise in the critical care and anesthesia domains. Key responsibilities
- Manage and treat critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
- Provide anesthesia services for critical care procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Conduct research and contribute to academic pursuits in critical care
- Oversee and mentor medical residents and fellows
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and protocol development
- Participate in critical care outreach and education programs
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and guidelines
- Participate in oncall duties and respond to emergencies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidencebased practices
- Coordinate with support services for patient care needs
- Participate in critical care administrative and leadership activities
- Conduct patient and family education on critical care management
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Contribute to continuous professional development and learning
Required qualifications
- MD degree in Anesthesia or equivalent
- DM Critical Care or equivalent specialization
- Fellowship training in Critical Care
- Board certification in Critical Care
- Valid medical license and registration
- Demonstrated experience in critical care settings
- Proven expertise in anesthesia and perioperative care
- Proficiency in advanced critical care procedures and interventions
- Strong understanding of critical care pharmacology and therapeutics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and teamwork abilities in a multidisciplinary setting
