Job Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Corporate Finance Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this remote role you will partner with the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to meet reporting and analytical objectives prepare comprehensive reporting packages and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Partner with the Corporate FP&A team to meet all reporting and analytical objectives.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain annual budget reporting packages.
- Variance Analysis:
- Routinely trace variances against base periods (budget forecast prior forecast prior year) to identify root causes.
- Analyze financial data to support decisionmaking and strategic initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in automating financial reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Special Projects:
- Handle special projects and adhoc requests as assigned by the Corporate Finance Leader.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support various financial initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree (BA/BS) in Finance Accounting or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in corporate finance or accounting roles.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Ability to write scripts execute complex formulas and trace/fix errors in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a teamoriented culture.
- Capable of managing multiple assignments and meeting strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a strong desire to learn and adapt in a processoriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency:
- Experience with dashboarding applications such as MicroStrategies PowerBI Tableau or Qlik.
- Familiarity with consolidation applications like Oracle SmartView SAP BPC/GR IBM TM1 etc.
- Experience in financial reporting process automation.
- Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Experience in data visualization and business intelligence tools.
