Overview
The Oracle Payroll position is crucial to maintaining accurate and efficient payroll processes within the organization. Key responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Oracle Payroll modules to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing
- Assist in the implementation and testing of Oracle Payroll system updates and patches
- Resolve complex payroll processing issues and provide user support and training
- Generate payroll reports and conduct audits to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Participate in the design and implementation of payroll policies and procedures
- Conduct regular assessments of payroll processes to identify and implement improvements
- Collaborate with IT teams for system integration and data interface development
- Stay updated with payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and process efficiency
- Provide technical expertise and support for Oracle Payroll related projects and initiatives
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for payroll system enhancements
- Assist in the development and maintenance of payrollrelated documentation and training materials
- Contribute to crossfunctional projects and initiatives to drive process improvements and system enhancements
- Participate in system testing validation and quality assurance activities for payroll processes and system upgrades
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Accounting or related field
- 4 years of handson experience with Oracle Payroll implementation configuration and support
- Indepth knowledge of Oracle Payroll modules and functionalities
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and system customization
- Experience with Oracle ERP system and its integration with Oracle Payroll
- Strong understanding of payroll processing tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll system issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Certification in Oracle Payroll or Oracle ERP is a plus
- Familiarity with payrollrelated reporting and analytics tools
- Experience in training end users and creating user documentation for Oracle Payroll system
