Job Description
Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs assessing any changes or complications.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe delivery practices.
- Educate patients and families about the labor process pain management options and postpartum care.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid state license.
- Required certifications: BLS ACLS NRP AWONN (Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
