Position Title: Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Sonora CA USA
Shift: Day Shift (40 hours per week)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Salary Range: $50 $60 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team in Sonora CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine procedures including PET imaging and a commitment to providing highquality patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine scans and procedures including PET imaging according to established protocols.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment ensuring quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans.
- Educate patients about procedures potential side effects and postprocedural care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB RT(NM)) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- CA state license or eligibility for licensure in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine with significant experience in PET imaging preferred.
- Strong communication organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
