Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data
- Assist in database design and implementation
- Perform data analysis and create reports based on business requirements
- Collaborate with the development team to enhance database performance
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and maintenance
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving database issues
- Contribute to the documentation of database processes and procedures
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in SQL and database technologies
- Assist in data migration and integration projects
- Support users with adhoc data requests and troubleshooting
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on databaserelated projects
- Assist in monitoring and optimizing database performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address data needs
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development
- Adhere to organizational data governance and security policies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems
- Strong understanding of database design principles
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery processes
- Familiarity with data migration and integration techniques
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Detailoriented and organized approach to work
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
