Overview:
The Azure Data Engineer (Power Platform) plays a vital role in designing and implementing data solutions using Microsoft Azure and Power Platform. The individual will be responsible for developing testing and maintaining data pipelines data models and integrations to support business intelligence and data analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop scalable data solutions utilizing Azure and Power Platform services.
- Design build and maintain data pipelines for data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
- Create and optimize data models data warehouses and databases to support analytical and reporting needs.
- Implement data integration solutions to consolidate data from diverse sources and enable seamless data flow.
- Develop and maintain data security and privacy measures in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data solutions to ensure performance reliability and availability.
- Automate data tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support datadriven decisionmaking and business insights.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure and Power Platform features and best practices in data engineering.
- Document technical specifications data flows and solution architectures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- 410 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Power Platform.
- Demonstrated expertise in data modeling SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Handson experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Proficiency in developing Power Platform solutions including Power BI Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes data integration techniques and data governance principles.
- Experience in implementing and optimizing data pipelines for scalable and performant data processing.
- Ability to work with largescale datasets perform data analysis and troubleshoot datarelated issues.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools visualization techniques and analytical frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineering and Power Platform are a plus.
