Job Overview :
Responsible for the given region the primary objective of this role is to manage a profitable sales territory; maximize sales volume and gross margin for all products . Driving Sales by collaboration.
Driving Project Pipeline with Sales & Technical Team planning and execution of Proactive Presentations to Customers. Networking with Key Customers in the region driving the Key Projects and Targets presenting Marketing Trends of Food Industry to key customers. With your excellent customer service orientation communication and negotiation skills you are able to grow our sales revenue and build successful longterm client relationships.
Your role :
- This role reports to Sales Director & will be responsible for growing the account portfolio by solution selling and leveraging extensive portfolio of Savoury Seasonings solutions with primary focus on Snack Food Category (Indian Snacks Western Snacks Potato Chips Nuts Oatmeals Makhanas Extruded Snacks Soups Noodles Popcorns etc).
- Build cross functional relationships with key customers and achieve annual budgeted revenue volume and profitability targets.
- Develop the B2B businesses as per company s growth plans.
- Drive growth to meet or exceed targets and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
- Develop an indepth understanding of customers markets competitors and trends to identify actionable insights.
- Identify new sales opportunities and ensure a strong pipeline of new business with existing and new customers.
- Regular sampling and its follow ups technical feedback given to the technical team according to the inputs given by the customer would be a key area of focus.
- Monthly reporting budget preparation concept presentation quality brief generation effective communication with the customers updating monthly progress on projects price negotiation forming yearly contracts in some cases will be some of the regular activities for this position.
- Healthy Receivables management and ensuring Zero bad debt .
- Financial discipline and compliance to company policies.
- To work towards the development of work ethic culture and value of the Sales and Business development group. Through personal example establish the style and approach which will characterize the company s ethical & professional dealings in the market place.
Your professional profile :
- Ideally should have 3 8 years of experience in B2B industrial sales preferably in Seasonings Flavours Food Ingredient industry. People with Seasonings sales background will be preferred.
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Food Technology/Business Management.
- Must be fluent in Hindi and English.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible in traveling as required.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to develop indepth knowledge about products and markets.
- Good business sense and a professional mannerism.
