Job Description
- Test Case Design & Execution:
- Design develop and execute detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications. Ensure comprehensive coverage of functional regression integration and performance testing scenarios.
- Functional & Regression Testing:
- Perform functional testing to verify that the application behaves as expected. Conduct regression testing to ensure that new updates do not negatively impact existing features.
- Issue Identification & Tracking:
- Identify document and track bugs and defects throughout the testing cycle. Provide clear and concise bug reports with steps to reproduce screenshots and other necessary details.
- Collaboration with Development Teams:
- Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand the requirements raise issues promptly and ensure timely resolution. Participate in sprint planning reviews and other collaborative activities.
- Verification & ReTesting:
- Verify bug fixes and perform retesting to confirm that issues have been resolved. Ensure fixes meet the desired outcome and do not introduce new defects.
- Test Documentation:
- Create and maintain test documentation including detailed test cases test plans and test reports. Provide insights into software quality and progress through clear and organized reporting.
- Proven experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including functional regression integration and performance testing.
- Ability to design detailed test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail in tracking test cases and issues.
- Familiarity with common defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira Bugzilla etc.).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams to resolve issues.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- ISTQB Certification:
- A certification in ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) will be considered a plus.
- Ethical AI Knowledge:
- Familiarity with ethical AI principles and responsible AI testing practices is a strong advantage.
- Cloud & AI Testing Experience:
- Experience working with cloudbased ML/AI platforms or testing AIpowered applications will be a plus.
