Job Description

Manual Tester Need only locals to IL

Location: Waukegan IL (3 days onsite)
Duration: 6 month contract

Years of experience/education and/or certifications required:

  • 6 yrs as a software Test Engineer. Good to have ISTQB Certification.

Job Description:

  • Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet user requirements.
  • Extensive experience on different types of testing that includes Functional testing System Integration testing Regression testing and UAT.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum Environments on multiple Projects.
  • Experience in developing test plans strategies and test Scenarios.
  • Create execute and maintain test cases and test scripts. Collaborate with the development team to address and resolve identified issues in a timely manner.
  • Expertise in using JIRA/Excel for writing the Test Cases and tracking the Defects.
  • Participate in Defect Triaging during Major releases and tracking the Defects.
  • Perform Smoke testing to ensure that new changes or updates do not affect existing functionalities.
  • Good Knowledge on qTest.
  • Excellent Communication skillsVerbal and written.
  • Experience with iOS and iOS mobile applications
