Job Description

SharePoint Support Engineer (L2)
Experience 5Yrs
Location Pune (Hybrid)
Immediate Joiner

Role Objective
The SharePoint Application Support Specialist ensures optimal performance maintenance and support of SharePoint environments. Responsibilities include troubleshooting user support managing system configurations and coordinating with Level 3 (L3) support for complex issues.
OPERATIONAL:
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Management:
  • Manage daytoday operations of SharePoint applications including user management access management and site configuration.
  • Perform regular health checks on SharePoint systems and processes.
  • Proactively monitor SharePoint modules and report on performance status.
  • Manage incident and problem handling for SharePointrelated issues adhering to SLAs.
  • Support SharePoint application services responding to tasks assigned via service desk.
  • Perform system log checks and provide analysis to ensure the application runs smoothly.
  • Maintain design documentation for SharePoint systems ensuring it reflects ongoing operational changes.
2. Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide enduser support resolving queries related to SharePoint applications data configuration and system operations.
  • Investigate and perform root cause analysis of issues affecting SharePoint application operations.
  • Participate in Governance Forums to review and approve SharePointrelated changes.
  • Perform regular service performance analysis for the SharePoint application and identify improvement areas.
3. Maintenance & Patching:
  • Perform applicationlevel patching and system updates for SharePoint as needed.
  • Test new patches/software in a test environment and prepare reports for review.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SharePoint patches and new releases.
  • Deploy SharePoint software and coordinate with implementation teams for deployment processes.
4. Operational Support:
  • Maintain nonproduction environments for SharePoint systems (e.g. projects and training environments).
  • Coordinate with other teams (e.g. Infrastructure) for SharePointrelated system deployments.
  • Assist in gathering business users requirements for new functionality and enhancements within SharePoint systems.
  • Perform integration testing system configuration and deployment of change requests for SharePoint.
5. Reporting:
  • Provide regular reports on SharePoint system performance and utilization.
  • Ensure smooth operations and resolve issues in nonproduction and production environments.

1. Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
2. Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience with Oracle Financials modules: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Cash Management Fixed Assets.
Indepth knowledge of Oracle EBusiness Suite architecture and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
Proficiency in configuring and customizing Oracle Financials to meet business needs.
Expertise in Oracle technologies: PL/SQL SQL Forms Reports Workflow BI Publisher.
Skilled in developing customizations extensions interfaces and workflows.
Experience with data migration integration techniques and Oracle reporting tools.
Familiar with Oracle administration tools and version control systems.
Skills:
  • SharePoint Administration & Management: Proficient in configuring deploying and maintaining SharePoint environments (OnPremises & Online) including site collections libraries and workflows.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Strong experience in managing SharePoint incidents performing root cause analysis and escalating complex issues to Level 3 (L3) support.
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization: Expertise in troubleshooting performance issues tuning SharePoint applications and optimizing system configurations for better efficiency.
  • Backup & Recovery: Knowledgeable in SharePoint backup strategies disaster recovery planning and ensuring business continuity.
  • User & Access Management: Skilled in managing user roles permissions and access controls in SharePoint environments.
  • Change Management: Familiar with SharePoint change management processes including deploying updates patches and system enhancements.
  • Governance & Compliance: Experience in implementing SharePoint governance strategies and ensuring compliance with organizational and security policies.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Proficient in using SharePoint monitoring tools and generating reports on system performance usage statistics and system health.
  • L3 Support Coordination: Proven ability to escalate complex SharePoint issues to Level 3 (L3) support and ensure resolution within SLA timelines.
  • PowerShell Scripting: Skilled in automating tasks managing SharePoint sites and performing administrative functions through PowerShell scripting.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with crossfunctional teams stakeholders and end users.
Experience:
  • Extensive experience managing and supporting SharePoint environments including version upgrades patches and migrations.
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting SharePoint issues and resolving system errors performance problems and security vulnerabilities.
  • Handson experience in managing SharePoint site collections workflows user permissions and security settings.
  • Experience in providing user training creating documentation and offering technical support for SharePoint users.
  • Familiarity with integrating thirdparty tools and applications with SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to manage Level 3 (L3) support issues and work with external vendors for resolution.
