Overview:
The Territory Manager plays a crucial leadership role in our Bancassurance life insurance division responsible for maximizing sales and profitability within the assigned territory. This position is vital to the organizations success as it involves building and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners driving sales initiatives and leading a team toward achieving ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
- Lead coach and mentor a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and productivity
- Collaborate with the bancassurance partners to identify opportunities for business growth and develop mutually beneficial strategies
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer preferences to adjust strategies accordingly
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Drive the development of sales tactics and ensure effective execution to meet and exceed targets
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to optimize operational efficiency
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key bank stakeholders and decisionmakers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and align operational practices with industry standards
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on sales performance market analysis and team activities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or related field
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the insurance or financial services industry
- Demonstrated success in sales management and achieving or exceeding targets
- Indepth knowledge of insurance products industry regulations and market dynamics
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong decisionmaking abilities and strategic thinking
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team toward achieving collective goals
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Certification in Insurance Sales or Management (preferred)
- Sound understanding of banking operations and financial services (preferred)
