Job Title: Lead SAP BASIS
Exp: 6 10 Years
Location: Bandra Kurla Complex Mumbai
Industry: Preferably from a Technology ITES Shared Services or Banking organization
Certifications: SAP Certified Technology Associate System Administration certification (preferred)
Job Description:
Experience/ Qualifications
6 to 8 years of relevant experience
Experience in Previous SAP implementation(s) is a must
Experience required in enhancement and management of SAP environment (ECC BW DMS Solman 7.1 and 7.2 NetWeaver 7.5 Portal Web Dispatcher Solution Manager 7.3 and S4HANA) based on Oracle HANA and Sybase database.
Further experience is required in the following:
Operating System (Unix/Linux Windows Server)
Storage and Backup (Symantec NetBackup EMC TSM)
Industry Preferably from a Technology ITES Shared Services or Banking organization
Responsibilities
- Advice Design Develop or Enhance the inhouse SAP Architecture
- Provide technical project management for SAP installation platform/data centre migration upgrades vulnerability patching and deployment support
- Perform daily monitoring and provide necessary actions/advice to ensure the high availability of critical areas about database and application servers
- Perform preventive maintenance activities role creation modification and full troubleshooting
- Carry out SAP Transport migration
- To implement SAP Client copy OSS notes kernel patches support packages addons and SAP component upgrades
- Perform SAP Database administration and support data migration activities
- Monitoring User sessions work processes update records lock entries and client copies
- Respond to and resolve tickets on technical issues related to the SAP Platform within defined SLAs
- Manage and monitor Storage backup and restoration process
- Responsible for Monitoring reporting and controlling server usage
- Perform SAP Licensing identify inactive users user classification and prepare system measurement results for the audit team
- Responsible for closure of compliance paras related to SAP infrastructure
- Ability to multitask prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables
- Able to work with diverse teams spread across multiple geographical locations. Good with technical documentation able to work under pressure with minimum supervision and within agreed deadlines.
- Aligning the application with bank IS policy and data centre requirements
