Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new customers and executing sales for existing customers. Implement & drive strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in the industry. Business model is broadly B2B. This role requires excellent communication skills good knowledge of switchgear market & its requirements positive networking capacity strong leadership skills a deep understanding of processes & manufacturing industry. Has to be passionate in creating a positive impact in the market & with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinator between customers & factory.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Identify and target new business opportunities across market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
Collaborate with customers product development team & operations team to align with business strategies with various product offerings.
Prepare and present MIS related to sales that includes business forecasts sales potential vis a vis market potential.
Going ahead should be capable of creating mentor & manage sales team by leading at the front & providing guidance and support.
To keep a closed watch on competitions & understand market dynamics to finetune strategies as needed.
Attend & participate in industry events trade shows to have positive networking and promote our products & services.
Ensure the optimum utilization of infrastructure & resources available.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in engineering plus qualified in business management.
Experience in sales management with manufacturing industry (5 years preferred).
Fair understanding of processes with respect to products & services including manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Having leadership qualities is an added advantage.
Analytical ability with good understanding of sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel as needed.
