Job Description

Overview:

The DM DNB Cardiologist Consultant plays a crucial role in providing specialized cardiac care consultation diagnosis and treatment in Hassan Karnataka. They are responsible for leading the cardiac care team delivering highquality patient care and contributing to the overall success of the cardiology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the cardiac care team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Conduct consultations with patients to assess and diagnose cardiac conditions
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients based on diagnosis and evaluation
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECG echocardiograms and stress tests
  • Prescribe medication and provide cardiac interventions when necessary
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide integrated patient care
  • Participate in departmental meetings case reviews and continuing medical education
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the cardiology department
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in cardiology and incorporate best practices
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and residents
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards in patient care
  • Engage in community outreach and awareness programs related to cardiac health
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation
  • Participate in research and academic activities related to cardiology

Required Qualifications:

  • DM or DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution
  • Valid medical license to practice as a cardiologist
  • Minimum of 5 years of postqualification experience in cardiology
  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiac conditions
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary cardiac care team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent decisionmaking and critical thinking abilities
  • Adherence to medical ethics and patient confidentiality
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Proven track record of delivering highquality patient care
  • Proficiency in using cardiac diagnostic equipment and technology
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and best practices in cardiology
  • Experience in academic and research activities will be an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced healthcare environment
  • Willingness to participate in oncall duties and emergency care as needed
