Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented QA Lead to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will lead a team of QA engineers develop testing strategies and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance product quality.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead mentor and manage a team of QA engineers fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Test Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans including functional regression performance and automated testing.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all software releases meet quality standards and are delivered on time by conducting thorough testing and validation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product management development and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment on quality objectives.
- Issue Management: Identify document and track defects and issues throughout the development lifecycle providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting: Generate and present reports on testing progress defect trends and overall quality metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: Experience in software quality assurance with a focus on leading QA teams in a technology or software development environment.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB) are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of QA methodologies tools and best practices including automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium JUnit).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced startup environment and effectively manage crossfunctional relationships.
- Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams is highly desirable.
