Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the digital design and project process. They work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that all parties are on the same page and they coordinate between various teams to make sure that everyone is working from the same framework.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support BIM efforts on multidisciplinary and multiregional projects
- Coordinate efforts for bidding and proposals regarding BIM aspects of the projects
- Evaluate and help us adopt new BIM related software technologies.
- Expert in at least one of the Plant Design Tools from Autodesk or Aveva
- Engineering Software Customization experience with Autodesks Plant3D or Autodesk Revit
- Experience in adding catalog/specs/families to the engineering software
- Experience in migration of customization to the higher versions of the software.
- Experience working with regional counterparts with time overlap
- Conduct trainings for our Design staff and also crosstrain CAD administrators
- Creation and maintenance of software templates/libraries.
- Provide support for plotting and electronic file submissions.
- Help us implement BIM standards for organization
- Work with vendors for sorting complex Design production issues.
- Work with our IT/Digital/Innovation teams related to the BIM tools and digital solutions.
- Ensuring production of deliverables is as per BIM standards
- Leading the efforts regarding model management BIM objectives coordination and collaboration.
- Creation of managed projects using Autodesk construction cloud collaboration software
- Project standard coordination with internal and external clients.
- Assist project teams in BIM project setup.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawing and 2D3D concepts
Qualifications :
BE/ BTech/ Diploma Mechanical/ Chemical
Additional Information :
Experience :
715 years Experience of mechanical design in WaterPowerOil and Gas or related Industry.
Keyskills Required:
- Proven experience in BIM coordination within Plant domain especially Water and waste water.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit Autodesk Plant3D Aveva E3DNavisworks and ACC
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g. ISO 19650) and protocols.
- Certification in BIMrelated disciplines (e.g. BIM Certified Professional) is preferred
- Able to understand the BIM execution plan for the individual projects and deliver it to Customer in line with Specifications and LOD requirements.
- Manage multiple large projects by coordinating with Multiple project stake holders through any of the Cloud engineering Platforms example ACC Smart Plant foundation Bentley Plant site/ProjectWise Aveva Net and Revit.
- Develop Tool customization/Productivity enhancements required for Multiple CAD Platforms
by using programming platforms supported by them. - Guide the team to develop the required customization/tool Automation as necessary to
optimize the project execution.
