Job Description

Overview:

The role of the MBBS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) in Varanasi Uttar Pradesh is critical to supporting the healthcare delivery system. The RMO directly contributes to patient care provides support to clinical teams and plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of medical facilities in the region. This individual is responsible for delivering highquality patient care and ensuring that medical protocols and standards are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to patients under the supervision of senior medical staff
  • Participate in ward rounds and patient assessment
  • Assist in conducting medical procedures and treatments
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate treatment as necessary
  • Conduct patient education and counseling
  • Ensure compliance with medical protocols and guidelines
  • Assist in the training and supervision of junior medical staff and medical students
  • Contribute to quality improvement and audit activities
  • Participate in oncall duties as assigned
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in the provision of healthcare

Required Qualifications:

  • MBBS degree from a recognized institution
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India
  • Minimum of 12 years of clinical experience preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent medical knowledge and understanding of current medical practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated problemsolving abilities in clinical settings
  • Commitment to delivering highquality patient care
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of ethical and legal standards in healthcare
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in highpressure situations
  • Basic IT skills for medical record management
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and handle oncall responsibilities
  • Understanding of infection control practices and patient safety protocols
