Job Description

Overview

The role of BAMS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) is crucial in providing medical care and support at our healthcare facility in Baghpat Uttar Pradesh. The BAMS RMO plays a critical role in overseeing patient care emergency response and medical documentation ensuring the wellbeing of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care and treatment to patients.
  • Monitor and manage patient consultations and treatment plans.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation.
  • Coordinate with medical staff and support teams for patient care.
  • Conduct regular patient checkups and followups.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and postoperative care.
  • Participate in medical rounds and case discussions.
  • Implement infection control protocols and safety measures.
  • Provide medical advice and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.
  • Maintain medical records and reports as per regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and medical audits.
  • Stay updated with medical advancements and best practices.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in medical practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree.
  • Valid registration with relevant medical council.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Resident Medical Officer.
  • Sound knowledge of Ayurvedic principles and treatments.
  • Strong clinical diagnosis and patient management skills.
  • Proficiency in emergency medicine and trauma care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Good understanding of medical documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Familiarity with medical software and digital healthcare systems.
  • Compliance with medical ethics and legal regulations.
  • Capability to work efficiently in highpressure environments.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Demonstrated empathy and compassion towards patients.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and oncall duties.
