Job Description
Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Engineering and Application
Location: Gurgaon
About Employer: One of the largest players in the renewable sector
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review tender requirements and develop engineering solutions for energy storage systems (ESS) that comply with applicable codes standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Designing engineering sizing calculations selection testing and validation of complete ESS solutions including batteries battery management systems (BMS) energy management systems (EMS) power conversion systems (PCS) transformers switchgear cables and other associated electrical components for gridscale applications.
- Integrate ESS solutions with gridconnected renewable energy plants by creating detailed engineering documents such as bills of materials (BOM) wiring diagrams schematics specifications test procedures and test plans in line with tender requirements.
- Oversee testing and performance validation at renewable project sites to ensure compliance with design specifications and performance standards.
- Develop comprehensive specifications for ESS solutions and associated components to facilitate supply chain establishment.
- Evaluate vendors and assess technical proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Stay informed about emerging energy storage technologies and industry trends to support the continuous improvement of ESS solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (B. Tech).
- 8 to 10 years of experience in the design engineering testing and validation of lithium batterybased energy storage solutions for gridscale applications.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards for grid integration is essential.
