Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations and medical consultations
- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions and diseases
- Interpreting diagnostic tests and results accurately
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Providing guidance and supervision to junior medical staff
- Continuously staying updated with advancements in the field of internal medicine
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participating in clinical research and scholarly activities
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines
- Participating in departmental meetings and professional development activities
- Providing education and training to medical students and residents
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Acting as a resource for medical staff and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Required Qualifications:
- MD/DNB in Internal Medicine from a recognized institution
- Valid medical license to practice in Karnataka India
- Minimum of 5 years of postqualification clinical experience
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and treating complex medical cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative teambased environment
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and scholarly activities
- Strong clinical decisionmaking abilities
- Knowledge of and adherence to applicable healthcare laws and regulations
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and other relevant technologies
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Strong commitment to patientcentered care and safety
- Willingness to participate in oncall duties and flexible work schedules as needed
