Job Description
This role is for one of the Weekdays clients
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure and automation will be essential in enhancing our development and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure: Design build and manage scalable reliable and secure cloudbased infrastructure.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build testing and deployment processes.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure and applications adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure deployments and system performance.
- Automation: Automate routine tasks and processes to improve system efficiency and minimize manual intervention.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering QA and operations teams to ensure seamless integration between development and operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI) and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform Ansible or Chef.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash Python or Ruby for automation tasks.
- Indepth understanding of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack.
- Solid grasp of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving abilities.
