Overview
The Production Planning Control Manager plays a pivotal role in the manufacturing sector by overseeing the planning and control of production operations. This position is responsible for ensuring that production processes are efficient timely and aligned with the overall business goals. A hallmark of this role is the ability to balance supply and demand effectively while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
The Production Planning Control Manager collaborates with various departments including engineering quality assurance and supply chain to develop production schedules that meet customer needs without compromising on quality. By employing analytical skills the manager assesses production performance identifies areas for improvement and implements changes to enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning or operations management.
- Proven experience in leadership roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in ERP software and other production planning tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on datadriven decision making.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and drive results.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements in manufacturing.
- Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
