Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Chennai/Hyderabad/Bangalore
Reports to: Regional Manager / Area Manager
Job Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations in the apparel store ensuring smooth functioning to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets. This role involves leading and developing a team managing inventory maintaining visual standards and creating a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Recruit train and manage store staff including setting schedules and monitoring performance.
- Motivate and mentor the team to ensure high levels of productivity and customer service.
- Conduct regular team meetings setting clear expectations and objectives.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure an exceptional shopping experience by maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to build a loyal customer base.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve store reviews.
- Sales & Performance Management:
- Set monitor and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze sales data to develop strategies for improving store performance.
- Implement promotions and instore events to boost traffic and sales.
- Inventory & Merchandising Management:
- Oversee inventory management including ordering stocking and cycle counts.
- Ensure accurate product display and maintain visual merchandising standards that align with brand guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels minimize shrinkage and manage store replenishment needs.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee daily store operations including opening closing and cash management procedures.
- Ensure compliance with store policies health and safety regulations and brand standards.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe store environment for customers and staff.
- Financial Management:
- Manage store budgets controlling costs to optimize profitability.
- Review financial reports and prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze store expenses and implement costsaving initiatives where possible.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Retail Management or related field (preferred).
- 3 years of retail management experience preferably in apparel or fashion.
- Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Proficient in POS systems and inventory management software.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of fashion trends and visual merchandising.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to change.
- Resultsdriven with a focus on achieving sales goals.
