Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop fasttrack schedules for prefabricated construction with precise timelines measured in hours days and weeks.
- Closely monitor project progress making realtime adjustments to prevent delays and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Efficiently manage multiple sites proactively resolving conflicts and bottlenecks to maintain seamless operations.
- Allocate and optimise resources including materials labour and equipment to meet tight deadlines across projects.
- Ensure smooth coordination between procurement operations and site teams to prevent resource shortages or delays.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment according to project schedules.
- Work closely with site managers and engineers to meet daily targets escalating issues promptly to avoid disruptions.
- Facilitate clear realtime communication across departments ensuring all stakeholders are updated on project status and changes.
- Utilise planning software to accurately map milestones timelines and dependencies.
- Implement datadriven planning strategies for precise forecasting and realtime adjustments based on site progress.
- Lead initiatives to enhance planning accuracy resource utilisation and overall project execution.
- Flexible to take on additional responsibilities and adapt to changing project demands.
- Demonstrate flexibility to travel as required depending on project needs.
Requirements
Qualification & Experience
- Experience: 4 years in project planning within the construction preferably in Pre Engineering Building (PEB) construction sector with a proven track record of managing multiple projects under compressed timelines.
- Planning Expertise: Strong understanding of prefabricated construction techniques planning software (Primavera MS Project or equivalent) and fasttrack project scheduling methods.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders from site managers to procurement and finance teams.
- Ability to handle highpressure environments making rapid decisions to adjust schedules and resources as necessary.
- Proactive in identifying risks and delays with a keen sense of judgement to make adjustments in realtime.
