Job Description
We are currently looking for a Procurement Engineer who will be based Athens corporate office and will be working under the direction of a Procurement Manager.
- For assigned packages source and propose the Bidders from registered Client and Company approved vendor list and based on approved Procurement strategy
- Ensure that all Supplier PreAssessment is done in compliance with the procedure to improve the performance of company/project in Supplier selection.
- Coordinate with all relevant inhouse departments to ensure all requirements are included in the bidding documents and prepare/issue the Invitation to Bid (ITB) to the suppliers of the Bidders lists.
- Coordinate closely with Project or Tendering department to provide regular updates for the progress of the packages assigned (ITB Quotation receipt etc)
- Maintain the Project or Tender Procurement Plan up to date.
- Have a close interface with the technical responsible and lead all technical / commercial / contractual clarifications with the suppliers.
- Perform commercial and contractual analysis schedule evaluation of bids and incorporate technical evaluation from Engineering/Tendering.
- Finalize the Comparison Statement (CS) of the quotations and make recommendations only for technically acceptable solutions.
Qualifications :
- BSc Engineering University degree in one of the relevant fields (Electrical / Instrumentation)
- Motivation to learn and grow in Archirodon in the Procurement Dept
- Good communication cooperation and analytical skills
- 34 years working experience and one experience as Procurement Engineer/Site Engineer/Tender Engineer.
- Adequate knowledge of commercial aspects and instruments.
- Able to handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision and very short deadline
- Fluency in the English language (oral and written).
- Enjoys challenge working with different cultures and travelling.
